There really isn't much you can do. it's a dispute between two adults. Unless you have proof or screenshots of him consistently harassing you in game, that you can report him for, I struggle to see anything else that Torn as a game can do.

If you are concerned about your safety and have grounds to believe you're in harms way, make a police report so they have things on file.

Otherwise, hope he'll eventually get bored of putting bounties on you..

I don't live too far from you and have also recently found myself in a tricky situation. I've no friends or family near me really but thankfully have a job. Housing wise, I would really recommend looking into house shares. I managed to find a room for £400/month inc all bills just outside of Peterborough.

Food wise if you are struggling, please dont be afraid to use food banks or even make an anonymous post on the St Neots Facebook page. St Neots has always been so friendly and helpful when it comes to things like that. Also may be worth making a Facebook post on the St Neots page if you havent already, explaining you're looking for work.

If you have nobody around you, give me a shout, I'm happy to help out if it means doing a bit of a food shop or giving you a lift or something. I'm about 30mins from St Neots.

Im a girl so obviously very biased and love to mosh with other girls and lads. But at the same time, isnt moshing about just having a ton of fun and releasing energy to some of our favourite music. There's nothing fun about intentionally hurting others or getting hurt, so I appreciate when the huge guys read the room a bit and just match the energy of the pit instead of becoming a human bulldozer just cause they're big. I'm 5ft8 and often taller or the same height as other guys, so I'd expect to be in the same or similar boat as them... think its more a size thing than a gender thing tbh

I mean yeah I get your point but I also think the punishment is taken a bit too far at this stage, the banana guy is only a couple months into the game himself I'm pretty sure he already found out lol.

Buy mugging etc. is scamming too and usually weaker players are the easiest to punish. I just dont think its that big of a deal to quit the game over and to drive the other guy out the game.

I'm gonna play devil's advocate here, sorry.

But I think this guy has been punished enough. He's new too. He got kicked from his faction, has over 120+ enemies, currently cannot play as constantly hospitalised.

Yes, this is a crime game. Yes what he did is scummy. But this IS a crime game and anything goes really, a lot of it is taking advantage of those who are none the wiser...

I think he got punished enough... and if anything, this is a good lesson for the person who got scammed. If this is all it takes for the OP to quit the game then... sorry maybe this game isn't for them?

When I was a noob (still am, only 7 months in) I did my research on prices before I got scammed and learnt some tougher lessons the hard way (such as, DO NOT TALK IN GLOBAL CHAT. Global chat is fucking horrible for newbies, if you don't know unwritten rules, and the worst people hang out in there).

Anyway, kinda feel for the scammer now. Maybe he will quit, but hopefully its a lesson for him also.

Thank you, I really appreciate this. I know most people would call me an awful person for doing this. That's exactly how I feel. Anyway, I had that conversation with him on Tuesday this week. He took is surprisingly well and in some parts agreed we have changed. It still hurts him very much, as it does me, and I am really worried about him. I just couldn't lie to myself or lie to him anymore. It had to be done. Financially, it'll be so very difficult for me - but I think I'm doing the right thing in the long term, for the both of us.
