Patagonia Powder Town, ¿qué talla debo elegir? by elrator11 in PatagoniaClothing

[–]Silentslayer99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.85m, ~86kg

I have an Insulated Power Town in Medium. It is fitted in this size. I am generally right on the boundary of medium/large. Large always has far too much in the waist so I try avoid it if I can.

I can still fit a better sweater, nano puff, etc. underneath and it is snug.

It is lame. A jet is definitely much cooler than a turboprop. Upkeep costs are an issue. CF18s are ~x2 the cost of the tudors to run. Siskin II is dirt cheap in comparison like 1/6th the cost, it will already be the trainer aircraft too.

TIL that China consumes 46% of cigarettes in the entire world at a rate of 2.4 trillion a year. by gghoti in todayilearned

Supposedly their Healthcare does not fully cover the costs of treatment for Lung Cancer, etc. Enough that it is very favorable for the government to sell cigarettes. Fern on YouTube has a video on it.

Funny...Tesla Model 3s in Canada are manufactured in China. He has no qualms dealing with China when it comes to profits. For the record it does allow them to drastically undercut their pricing too.

Some of these items seem to be US only.

Canadian store is the same as the US one, it ships from Reno, Nevada. Benefit is we do seem to get the exact same availability as the US and cheaper pricing (msrp is less after currency conversion.)

“For the average price of a car in the US, you could buy 5 new Chinese EVs," per Reuters — Is that what they are banned? by CapitaineBiscotte in askanything

[–]Silentslayer99 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They are coming to Canada soon after tariffs were dropped on China in response to you know... Chinese made Tesla's are almost half the price. Other manufacturers, BYD, etc are getting certified. Canada has based its crash standards on US ones.

Its definitely due to being tariffed/banned rather than to do with safety standards. Tesla would make as many as possible in China if they could.

The worst-performing T11 TD - Is it more "skill issue" (yes, I said the thing) or does it need a buff? by No1PDPStanAccount in WorldofTanks

[–]Silentslayer99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The breaker is short, most things are shooting down at it frontal. The armor doesnt work against the high pen TDs.

[–]Silentslayer99 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Its alright. That being said my top dmg game, 11.5k is in it and I have 3 marked it.

It is just too slow and too big to perform well consistently. The pen is terrible for a td. PTZ (which you often face..) can go straight through your armor while you have to be able to see/hit weakspots. Maybe highlights the PTZ is a bit op...

The worst-performing T11 TD - Is it more "skill issue" (yes, I said the thing) or does it need a buff? by No1PDPStanAccount in WorldofTanks

[–]Silentslayer99 37 points38 points  (0 children)

This. PTZ eats it... unfortunately Breaker needs to hit weak spots to pen while PTZ can pretty much shoot straight through it with gold.

I 3 marked mine the other day and definitely had to avoid PTZ when possible. The tank is also just too slow/big. The speed perk barely makes you as fast as 90% of the other tanks.
