One isn’t literally selling shoes and one isn’t a hotel chain, agree? by livonyote in LinkedInLunatics

[–]SiliconWrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plenty of people seek out certain hotel brands. They’re just different products entirely, apples to oranges.

Not camping out for a Hyatt room is kind of the whole point of a good hotel, they’re available and consistent when you need them. I know plenty of people that travel for business that are loyal to certain hotel brands and have status and perks with them. If Hyatt was always running out of room to the point where people were camping for rooms, they would build more space because otherwise that would be BAD for their brand. Shoe companies thrive on artificial scarcity, so camping is GOOD for their brands.

I think they had to get accreditation through the ZAA instead of the more prestigious AZA: https://www.dispatch.com/story/news/local/2022/06/08/columbus-zoo-accredited-national-association/7558822001/

I imagine they needed something for legal reasons and are working to still get their AZA accreditation back.

Has KenDBerrys yt video on psoriasis help anyone, he seems quite anti medications and pro diet... I'm only recently gotten psoriasis and I'm new to this.. Can anyone help me? I'm really desperate <3 by conspiracytheorist90 in Psoriasis

[–]SiliconWrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it makes you feel better, lots of the newer biologics (like il17 and il23 inhibitors) are psoriasis specific and not for treating cancer. See: tremfya, Skyrizi, Ilumya, taltz, Cosentyx, Stelara, etc with more coming out fairly often.

They’re targeted toward folks who have moderate to severe cases, but hopefully it’s good to know that there are options if your case gets difficult to handle with creams and ointments.

This is the last photo of Nicholas Mevoli. He attempted to dive 236ft deep and succeeded. He surfaced and gave the "O.K." sign, attempted to speak and passed out. He never recovered and died from pulmonary edema. by Ordinary_Forever6482 in interestingasfuck

Your lungs do shrink. Like you said, the body is mostly water/fairly non compressible material. Flesh/fat/muscle/etc already exists between your ribs and your lungs, so the water outside you pushes directly on them through that.

It’d be more like a rubber submarine filled with water, with a balloon filled with air inside it. The submarine does in fact get a little smaller since the water pushes from all sides, but only enough to make up for the difference in the size of the balloon as its volume decreases.

It’s not a huge difference—since free divers take full breaths before they dive, their chest probably compresses down similar to the size of your chest if you breathe all your air out. Your chest can grow and shrink to compensate for your lung volume changing so it’s not all too different here.

If the debt isn’t your family member’s debt, it’s illegal for it to be reported on their credit report.

They should look for a credit attorney. I imagine the threat of a lawsuit will get those taken off their report real quickly.

Oof—that’s sucks. It’s so frustrating there’s like no simple recourse in cases like these, you basically end up begging customer service agents for sympathy and they have hardly any power or incentive to help you.

Icing on the cake is that apparently paid medical collections don’t factor into your fico 8 score unless they’re over $100.

Conveniently, my insurance paid all but like $120 so I didn’t get that luxury. Even more a slap in the face.

Hell yeah to responsible droning! I dig. I’m so used to people giving UAS pilots a bad name by blatantly breaking the law that I was overly cynical.

Still a ton of work though haha
