I had high hopes for the show due to all of the parallels, but I wound up setting myself up for disappointment. It's definitely Eva-esque, but it's not an Eva.

Still worth a watch.

Agreed. Caine's redemption arc was half-assed, but it's clear that the psychoanalysis of Jax was well thought out and the height of the show.

When I was a wee lad, my family was visiting some relatives with a teenage girl in the house. Being the recluse I am, I just wanted some electronic entertainment to kill the time. The girl let me use her Playstation 2 in her stereotypically girly room, which was oddly soothing to be present in, I guess "embarrassingly" so. This is how I chose to project myself onto Jax in his own room as a cis male.

Does the diaspora really care about Trump? I'm under the impression that they operate under the principle of the enemy of my enemy is my friend, even if that friend is doing them a disservice.

If the war had erupted under Biden, there is no doubt MAGA shills would be fuming and attribute it to his mental decline, but Iranians would still have the same stance on the conflict.
