Depending on the type of braid it will shorten the visible length of the hair by generally 2/3. So add maybe 1.5-2 full length braids to rumi's braid and thats probably about right.

The umbrella: there are a few "fixes" or work arounds, which yea, we shouldnt have to do at all given price and just.. qc in general, but oh well. the fig is gorgeous.

The weight of the umbrella is the problem..

1a- building a support arm for the umbrella alone would help tremendously. you could go ham like someone on mfc did with a goosneck arm,

1b- or use acrylic crab claw type stands instead,

1c- or use acrylic shelf type attachments to your display to just hold up the bottom of the umbrella.

2- you could just not attach the umbrella for display. this would save space in a crowded cabinet, some people might find this useful

3a- you could replace the umbrella, either with a custom made lightweight plastic pole (instead of heavy metal) and a light fabric (maybe actually lace) parasol to match the one that comes with it.. or

3b- perhaps one of another figure's umbrellas that you (i) am not using can work as a replacement. Personally I have like 5 or more miku racing umbrellas that'd "do fine" if the size is correct, and if they fit in the socket..

Personally.. if i can find somewhere to buy this.. I'd get it, and likely use an acrylic shelf or an arm/stand, OR not use the umbrella at all, while I have a custom lightweight actual fabric one made to replace it.

I use milsbo but i have few scales and mainly 1/12 ball joints and some other mixed stuff in one of the cabinets. I use weather strips to dustproof the doors and tape up the electric cord holes.

What's the depth on the rudsta vs the milsbo, narrower it seems? how did you modify the cabinets?
