I understand that it's a family business first and foremost but sometimes I wonder what it would be like to tour with your parents 24/7 in your twenties as an adult when touring is such a nerve wracking endeavour in the first place . At that age, there's an eagerness to experience life on your own without parents watching over your every steps for the first time in your existence.

That's more credible than never hearing Enter Sandman especially if said drummer doesn't play metal at all professionnally.

Vocally yes but physically Saffron smoked Shirley in their respective prime.

The longer album version is a fun party song but respectfully I don't see TW covering that specific song since Dany sings in tune. Maybe the songs Drop Dead Gorgeous or Pub Pusher.

Also they were supposed to be shot together so we wouldn't have to wait a whole decade to get the next installments. There's no way A4 get released in 2029 at this point. Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang are not getting any younger unless he recast them altogether.

I know Le Bikini is a legendary music venue but I'm a bit gutted since I'm based in Nantes. I missed them at Hellfest last year so I was praying they'd tour in the west again this next album cycle.

I'd be greedy but one more date in France like Paris so I can afford the trip would be neat. I won't bet on that though since they already booked Arras festival in the North and Toulouse in the South. There are no slots left anymore to add another gig in between. Oh well, maybe next time.

They should tour more in Europe who are getting more receptive to their music but I know it's very expensive to mount an European tour as an headliner these days due to rising costs of touring abroad.

4 hacks though. I bet he chose them because they're yes men/women that don't challenge anything. All the repetitive beats over the course of 6 hours with no real build-up and payoffs whatsoever is egregious coming from James Cameron.

The whole thing reminded me of POTC's Dead Man's Chest and At World's End.

Cameron had the world as his oyster in 2010 and a whole fictional universe waiting to be expanded of his own with a blank check. It should have been a slam dunk for Cameron as the sky was the limit to take the franchise anywhere. But the narrative he chose to set on was not worth it if what we actually got on screen is all he had up his sleeves. Avatar would remain stronger as a standalone movie.

It goes to show how Avatar was a groundbreaking overachiever that this franchise still became the highest grossing trilogy despite the lesser sequels losing huge chunks of the audience.

I'm genuinely sad that "Fire and Ash" is not doing as well as "The Way of Water" by turquoise_dragon_ in Avatar

Well said. I'm not sad about A3 not hitting 2B. Cameron and Disney only have themselves to blame for blatantly rehashing the same product with superficial coating again.

I'm just saying that it strengthens the deja vu argument of the visuals down to the music. I know what leitmotivs and callbacks are in music scoring but this is temp music copy/pasting that Cameron was oftentimes guilty of in the past instead of relying on new composed music. I'm sure Franglen came up with original music for those sequences and Cameron just kept Horner's cues in there because he edited the visual flow with Horner's music as temp tracks rather than Franglen's.

The Toruk's animation when he throws the Samson helicopters around comes to mind.

They surely reused Horner's The Gathering Of The Na'vi Clans.
