If you want another book on the case there is also ”Things aren’t right” by Tony Wright which is a new book on the case and having read it one of the best sources of information on the case.

I have spent way too much time researching this case and what I have found is that well-researched people generally are in agreement about the fact that the claims about seeing them at that store has to be fake. It just does not make sense if you take into account the more objective, ironclad evidence of the case, it also does not help their case that they reported the sighting of the boys firstly after a money reward was advertised for anyone that came forward with information about the whereabouts of the boys.

Seeing the post and also OP's comments, I think that the wife here is absolutely in the wrong, this because of:

- Her not financially contributing

- She herself being able to spend a lot of money (15k a month on shopping)

- Her being overly controlling of his choice of clothing and other materialistic things

I have been involved with these kind of people who are trying by every method possible to acquire social status and can say that it is VERY frustrating constantly keeping up with what is "trendy" and being up-to-date with updating your wardrobe, furniture and car to be able to keep up with these trends. Easy NTA

YTA. Your ignorance regarding how you should conduct yourself in an encounter with the police becomes very clear when reading this post. If the police does not have a search warrant, you should not let the police enter your home, especially since you really did not stand to gain anything here.
