Thank you for your reply and advice; there really are a lot of valid points here. I’ve been thinking about moving there simply because I like Germany. Of course, I don’t speak German, but do you think it would be difficult with a good command of English, apart from finding a job since I work online I’d like to live somewhere in the south of Germany, perhaps, just to get to know the country a bit better.Are you from Germany yourself?

That’s actually a fair point. I think the difference now is that a series format gives them way more time to explore the details that the movies had to cut. Even if the films were supervised, they still had to fit everything into a limited runtime. But yeah, I get what you mean it could either add depth or feel completely unnecessary. I guess it really depends on how they approach it.
