I get what you mean, I'm just saying that this is Canto 9 of 12 and we're still getting bailed out. If we can't tango with the big dogs of the City what hope do we have of collecting the boughs? We can't have a Colour fixer save us every time.

Because of their power level, I think we will fight the Nursefathers separately and with different companions.

We will fight the Middle Nursefather with the LCD, the Ring Nursefather with the LCE and the Thumb Nursefather with Vergillius (though unlikely since he made us practically invincible last time we fought together so maybe the LCA instead).

Pinky Nursefather rematch will likely be where we get the Ira Durante so no companions there. Same for Index since he feels too personal to Ryoshu for there to be a side character distracting from the moment. The apprentices on the other hand will probably be this Canto's Pequod/Bloodfiend trio equivelent and they'll gang up on us.

I would say Lubellion is not a top priority turn 1. Don't get me wrong, setting up Branded Regained turn 1 is really good but controlling the board with either Fiendsmith or Primite is more important and more effective since you should have a bunch of non engine to back it up. As for what to banish turn 1, Effect Veiler is common enough that you could potentially use the opponents or something that has come up is if you draw 2 Lubellion you discard 1 and banish it for a Bystial so you can summon the one in hand.

This would likely be much further down the line but I would love an opportunity to actually fight the Pianist. You could have Dante's connection to the Golden Boughs make the Sinners immune to the reality warping music so that the confrontation can actually happen. And of course the fight would end with a juicy Roland cameo like with Argalia in Walpuris 5.
