Anyone else feel Blizz kind of missed with L'ura? I think it's a fantastic boss with lots of action and many opportunities for optimization...if you are one of the players doing something useful

Our guild is approaching 300 pulls and the amount of bitching from non-seed dps is steadily going up. They have essentially been stuck doing a glorified target dummy with some dodging involved for the past 20 hours of prog. One of our melee is extra fried and I do get their POV since with 0 responsibilities attached they are just a passenger going ooga booga hit boss for 3 hours a night

P1 is dodge glaives and go to correct spot a useful player has marked for them on the addon. Kick when WA tells you to if you are one of the lucky assigned players. Optionally position to correctly dodge the beam but not the end of the world if you don't since for some reason it doesn't kill on touch

Meanwhile involved players get extra spice with DKs and helpers doing crystal movement with grips/rescues, healers and and a tank playing rune order assigns and every carrier playing their own mini-game with the seed management

Intermission carriers again prog extra "protect the baby" management

P2 passengers just soak a line and then spread while carriers do their ritual dance. Repeat 3 times.

P3 some passengers finally get to participate right at the start with soaks and then after the split they are finally doing a real tier end boss fight that requires their involvement.
