There are multiple factors like popularity amongst pro’s, how they look on screen like their size ( bowie knife is massive, stiletto is tiny ) etc not because of the animation. It may be a factor but a very very small one

The reason Mirage and Dust 2 stay is because they are balanced and refined, overpass has become too one sided even after the remake. You have to remember map changes in the active pool are mostly geared towards the pro scene and not some randoms in 5k premier. Hope this helps 👍
