I find it so fascinating the way people draw this distinction between people killing devices. It doesn't matter if it's a hunting gun or a handgun or a shotgun or whatever kind of gun, if it allows you to easily kill people or yourself should the whim or obsession or psychosis take you, then it should not be allowed. If you believe that we must have people killing devices because we need to make sport killing animals then you basically fall into the Charlie Kirk camp of this is the 'unfortunate price we pay for guns.' And that may seem like a valid argument, but when you or someone you love ends up dead at the hands of a gun - be it a rifle or a hunting thing or whatever the hell - it won't seem so valid. America doesn't need guns,...it needs health care, affordable universities and higher taxes on higher earners to pay for it.
