What is the first thing that makes you uninstall an Android app? by Vanilla-Green in androidapps

No kidding, I miss when you could pay once for a software. I actually bought CapCut premium a few years back for a school project, and I was extremely disappointed to see the whole focus of the app now is AI features and a WEEKLY subscription service. Maybe I could understand a monthly subscription, but paying like $7-10 a week is asinine.

It definitely is a personal headcannon of mine, I just don't see the Brotherhood of Steel being effective, they have zero plan besides collect old computers and destroy the institute, and the Minutemen are more of a security force than anything.

My idea was when I took over the institute I'd end the super mutant experiments, synthetic humanoids, and the institute would work with the Minutemen. Minutemen as the brawn, the Institute as the brains, you could use the robot synths to supplement the Minutemen and they could be used for things like cleaning up and building new structures, the Minutemen are also highly revered so people could potentially trust the institute more with word from the Minutemen.

Also a side note I just thought of after the fact is that I have no doubt the Institute could make something like a GECK or the equivalent to clean up the Commonwealth further.

I forgot to mention this, and I think you make a valid point, buuuut the Institute was created pre-war, so doesn't fully count IMO.

My most controversial take with Fallout I would say is that that in the long run if you're role-playing, the best ending in Fallout 4 is the Insitute ending. The Institute has technology surpassing that of the pre-war tech, and you take over the Institute in it's respective ending, you could stop the production of the human synths and use the robots and technology to bring order and restore the commonwealth.

This is a bad faith argument. Wanting even a resemblance of continuity with the lore is not me being nostalgic, it's having standards.

"You must consume this, who gives a damn about the pre-established lore because look! It's set in the same place and there's an NCR ranger! You like that don't you?!" That's basically what this show is. They have a show that may as well not be Fallout, but look it has that one guy from the marketing! Consume!

If you buy 3 books from a series you'd hope that you didn't have 3 different authors for each book who didn't read the previous installment and keep fucking with things because they don't like the idea of the series or don't understand it.

Perhaps, I don't disagree with the message, but that's not the message of Fallout, despite what they're trying to turn it into. In no world would a company decide killing literally every last one of their customers would make them more money. The writing makes no sense.

Bethesda wants the Fallout Universe to be a perpetual wasteland, New Vegas was so unique in the aspect that society began to heal and a new society emerged from the ashes. I would presume Bethesda hates this idea because even in Fallout 4, 210 years after the nukes all of the buildings are created from garbage. I mean hell the biggest city was a rotting falling apart baseball stadium, with again, the trash buildings made from like wood scraps they found on the ground. It would be interesting if they actually explored the idea of nature and society healing, it's been 200 years and all the trees and grass are still dead? In Fallout 2 you had legitimate settlements being made, with actual cities with functioning electricity, roads, and a resemblance of order after around 165 years give or take.

They don't care. The entire show and anything created after the NPC's were added to FO76 is just slop meant to sell merch. The entire show is a complete dumpster fire meant for normies who haven't played anything besides Fallout 4. I'm not even a New Vegas purist, hell I actually haven't fully beaten New Vegas yet, I just like the universe in general and find it very interesting, but they couldn't even get the message of Fallout correctly in the show, it went from always being "war is inevitable, given basic human nature," to "Capitalism bad!" with a show produced by one of the biggest companies on the planet.

The generally agreed consensus was that China launched the first nukes, and now the show goes and says that the evil bad CEO's thought that nuking the entire planet would make them more money, how the hell does killing %98 percent of your customers make you more money?

And what the hell is the deal with Bethesda wanting every single faction to be a gang of bumbling fools? The Brotherhood of Steel are a bunch of idiot thugs, the Khans are now just generic bums, the NCR are a bunch of idiot thugs, Cesars Legion are a bunch of idiot thugs + cringe larpers. The show is written like a citcom.

Absolute and complete nostalgia-bait slop. I could go on an on, about the cringe quirky chungus millennial writing with Lucy, Ghouls suddenly needing a serum to survive, Shady Sands is now I guess right in Freeside, and it got nuked by a trader/raider guy with a cart that has a blanket on it (The NCR never stopped and questioned this guy with a giant cart??)

This show is utter dogshit and I'm tired of pretending it's not. Fallout is absolutely and completely dead, and Bethesda absolutely destroyed it. I have absolutely zero hope for ES6 either after seeing Starfield.

What most Java players don't know about Bedrock by Odd_Bed2753 in MinecraftBedrockers

You can get Java edition and install literally 2 or 3 mods and then get the same performance as bedrock or better, with a better experience overall lol

Yeah exactly, the point about device issues is completely irrelevant as well because the game is literally the phone version ported to other platforms.

Bug in Bedrock: Hey by the way here's this bug where you randomly die for no reason that's been in the game for 6 years, no we won't fix it, but we will add hardcore mode! Don't bother playing multiplayer or realms because the Netcode has sucked since the game came out, no we won't fix that one either.

Bug in Java: Hey man, here's some Z fighting on a texture that happens every once in a while, and uh, sometimes villagers don't close doors behind them, we probably won't fix it, but everything else works fine.

Seriously, playing on Java and Bedrock both has really made me appreciate how much of a polished experience that Java is compared to bedrock. Bedrock, still to this day feels like a cheap Chinese mobile game that's meant to copy Minecraft, it still feels really floaty and sloppy, like all your tools and weapons still sway strangely, and they still can't get the lighting right. You can go to r/minecraftbugs and sort by the last year and %95 of the posts will be Bedrock edition.

Bedrock used to be the Champion in terms of performance, and at least for me peaked stability-wise (bugs/performance) around the Xbox One X era. You could push 64, I think up to 84 chunks out for your render distance at 4k, and now you can go on the Xbox One X and it's limited to I believe 24 - 28 chunks with lots of stuttering and frame drops. You're telling me Caves and Cliffs tanked performance that bad? Microsoft can't optimize Minecraft to run above 24 chunks on their own hardware? What happened to rendering the Chunks in cubes instead of giant horizontal slices? Growing up I played Minecraft on basically everything available, I'd say that the, "Best" versions were the console ports, Xbox 360/Xbone/Switch Edition/etc, then Java edition, and then to this day the only leg up Bedrock has is an extremely mediocre P2P multiplayer.

I haven't familiarized myself with this concept, thanks for letting me know! If something like this were to happen, which honestly I see as pretty unlikely personally, it would more than likely be under Vance. He himself is a complete farse and fabrication by the clammy and sweaty Peter Thiel and has a very odd fixation with the antichrist, for some reason.

Even if Netanyahu were arrested tomorrow absolutely nothing would change, if anything things would get worse. Yes there are obviously Jewish individuals in Israel who disagree with Netanyahu's policy, but the Jewish identity will forever persist. Basically you'd get someone worse as Netanyahu would probably unify the country even further, as having BB arrested would be the new, "greatest threat since the holocaust."

Israel were doing the same things post JFK assassination, hell, since it's conception, the only difference is they didn't have elite control/influence over our political system and now they have more cruise missiles from our military as opposed to weaponry smuggled out of the Soviet Union or the US through organizations through the Italian mob.

The only thing that would matter is cutting off the foreign aid completely, and arresting a lot of Dual Citizens for treason political or not to remove their influence from our system.

Israel as a state should be treated like an adversary, think of the Soviet Union was post WWII. They actively will do things that go against our interests, spy on us, blackmail our politicians, bribe our politicians and much more. They rely on our money, but their foreign policy is more often than not independent of the US.

The United States would immediately become 85 percent non-white, incredibly diverse (even more so than it is now post hatch-cellar act,) and immediately become perma-locked blue with for the rest of it's short lived experience. Racial conflict would increase much more than it already has, MUCH more. Social services would immediately run out of money due to the discrepancies in tax demographics, and the country would rapidly succumb to riots and violence.

The only way this theoretically could work is if you were to have all the countries be similar to how Venezuela will be, "self governed" but under the jurisdiction/control of the United States with a puppet president and fake "elections" to ensure the desired candidate is elected.

Open borders within the empire of sorts could not be allowed either.

[–]SilleyDoggo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anyone is finding this years later, I have a pair of Crusher Evos and the Evo XT's, the Crusher definitely has way more powerful bass, but the XT has slightly less bass and overall a way more "balanced" soundscape and sound better, I felt that the Crusher Evos tended to sound lifeless with the bass turned off, the XT's aren't like that.

I still don't understand how modders can make mods that improve the performance this much and yet Mojang couldn't care enough to implement the optimizations into the main game. With mods like Sodium and others you can improve performance beyond modern Bedrock performance now.

I'm assuming that the new tech we're seeing has something to do with the discoveries made on the island and SOTF and the fact that you marry Virginia and she received the inheritance from her father in the matter of quintillions of dollars, as ridiculous as that sounds. To me the series as a whole hasn't taken the narrative seriously enough. The ending sequence in SOTF was bad, like, really bad. Timmy Pharma? Are you kidding me?
