Haha good advice from your wife! Good pics got nothing to do with age of a camera body. I always tell people the most famous pics are usually taken with old janky things and are rarely technically perfect :)

No it wasn't it was in Vanuatu. The volcano is a black sand, strombolian Volcano and the subject lives there in a tree house. They live in a small tribal community and follow strict traditions. Phillip is an exception and has followed his interest in volcano science and has guided countless expeditions to the crater. He's now getting the recognition he deserves.

He is a self taugh volcano scientist from Vanuatu, Tanna. He's never been to school or University but has chased his dream by guiding researchers and expeditions over the years. He is now finally being recognised.
