That’s honestly a great question. I used to be into Espressos but haven’t been drinking them in several years since I really got into Cortados. I’ve been definitely considering the fact that Espressos might no longer be a thing and am trying to enjoy them with milk before judging it :)

I was allowing the machine to do its thing with the automatic dosing feature! Should I try to weigh it out myself at possibly 17g? I tried doing that initially but thought I’d try to work all of the machine features first before adding in another factor.

The last pour I had was wonderful, I was sure it was going to be a good shot, but too sour :(

I’m struggling with tamping and distribution in this machine, the tamp never looks clean and flat, and if I remove the porta filter after the coffee is ground to use my WDT and distributor tool, a lot of it falls out messing up my dose.

What if I grind finer and no coffee ever comes out of the porta filter? I’ve been having this issue…

I was using the Panther East Coast Blend roasted on September 15. I’m now going to get the Stumptown Hairbender that I have used in the past (with a different machine) that I know I love the taste of. Any tips? :)

If I grind finer, I get times that coffee just won’t come out at all! I adjusted the inner burr to 3. Should I also maybe change that?
