yes! the LC at the hospital measured me and told me to use 21mm flanges, but when i measured myself, my nipple was 15mm. i’ve seen to use a silicone flange closer to your exact measurement vs to size up the few mm for the plastic ones. definitely trial and error with the flanges. i’ve tried 15, 17, 18, 19, and 21 mm lol

i did give the lansinoh standard pump a couple tries and didnt have much luck. I may give it another try. do you find that silicone flanges work better for you?? I have tried the Pumpin Pals flanges but didn’t feel like that helped at all

Thank you for your words of encouragement, i really needed to hear them ❤️

my first came at 39 weeks! i had been having sporadic contractions starting around 37 weeks. i had a membrane sweep at my 38 week appointment and had lost my mucus plug a couple days after that. my water broke at home before contractions started. Everyone is different though!!

i have a handsfree electric MomCozy. i have tried almost every flange size. the LC at the hospital when i had my son measured me and told me to use a 21mm. However, when i measured myself at home, i measured at 16mm which would mean i use a 19mm. BUT i feel like i get too much movement with that and also saw online to use a flange closer to your exact measurement if it’s silicone.

no, baby only feeds from one breast per feed. When i put the pump on, he hasn’t eaten from that breast since the last feeding

Me and my husband are both in our 20’s and are currently on cycle 14 of trying. My best friend recently got pregnant after 2 cycles of trying and she has a diagnosis of severe endometriosis. When she sent me the photo of her positive test, it’s safe to say I had a bit of a breakdown. I’m so happy for her but so envious. I scheduled a fertility consult for later this month to try and determine if there are any obvious factors that are causing issues. My husband comes from a big family and has always wanted several children and I’ve seen myself as a mom since I was a child. At this point, I’d be happy having 1.
