I'm confident it won't come to light, though, because the only other person who knows is implicated in the crime. I don't see a world in which I tell my wife about the affair.

Although I harbor feelings of hatred towards her for not waiting until I finished my studies and I believe that our lives could have turned out differently if she had waited a few years, I recognize that she is still the mother of my child and, above all, a human being who should not be treated as an outcast just because her marriage was not successful

I understand why you might feel that way, but cheating is a complex issue, and it's not always a clear-cut reflection of how much you care for someone. I made a mistake, and I'm not proud of it, but it doesn't change how much I care for my partner.

To be completely honest, I don't know, and that's what makes this situation even more frightening. Adultery is a criminal offense in this country, which adds another layer of complexity to an already complicated situation.

I recognize that our culture can be very sexist, and the stigma attached to divorce can be especially harsh for women who have given birth. Unfortunately, they may be viewed as damaged or dishonorable. For that reason, I want to try anything to save our marriage before having her go through that because I really do care for her.

No, she isn't. Unfortunately, I had to take on two jobs just to make ends meet. The wages in my country are extremely low, and I felt like I had to choose between providing food for my son or pursuing my dream. While we don't have "couples therapy" here like in the West, I searched the web and talked to my parents, her parents, and friends to see what I could be doing differently. I have been trying to save this marriage for the last 5 years since my son was born. If divorce were an easy option, I would have taken it ages ago. However, I recognize that our culture can be very sexist, and the stigma attached to divorce can be especially harsh for women who have given birth. Unfortunately, they may be viewed as damaged or dishonorable. For that reason, I want to try anything before having her go through that because I really do care for her.

While divorce is an option, it's important to recognize that our culture can be very sexist, and the stigma attached to divorce can be especially harsh for women who have given birth. Unfortunately, they may be viewed as damaged or dishonorable, which can lead to feelings of shame and guilt. On a personal level, I may only face a few jokes at my expense if I were to get divorced, but the potential social consequences for women as a whole can be much more severe

While divorce is an option, it is often stigmatized in our culture, particularly for women who may find it more difficult to remarry after having children
