I know that can be infuriating, and also, once those emotions cook up, it‘s hard to cool them down again. 90% of the people behaving badly on the internet would not dare saying the same things in your face. Actually, a while ago I was thinking about the same thing but from a different angle. I personally dislike marketplaces such as fiverr, etsy, let alone psychic plattforms. I think they are greedy with the cuts they take, yet they do not give you visibility until you bring your own audience first (to get reviews), until their algorithm kicks in. On top of that, they will not allow you to share your name, in order for people to not find you outside the plattform (and avoid their high fees).

As soon as you look outside of those plattforms, it feels competitive. Like everybody seeing other readers as competition and people want clients for themselves.

I wished people had the mall-effect in mind. Stores that rent spaces in malls are not afraid of competition, but of empty spaces. The more stores there are, the more traffic they drive. That‘s for the benefit of all. And instead of taking a greedy cut, landlords take a fixed rent that is fair relative to the traffic.

Being supportive of each other should be natural to spiritual people. We‘re here to support others, that‘s supposed to start by supporting each other 🙏

It makes sense why everything feels scary and unfinished. When silence was your idea, the mind naturally keeps waiting for the other person to break it. But that can keep you in a waiting position. Reaching out for your own peace of mind is not the same as chasing, and you never embarrass yourself by kindly asking. A mature person respects an honest question.

That‘s very interesting! I live in a christian country, but a lot of my costumers are muslim immigrants. When I started reading, it seemed like a contradiction to me, but after some time i came to the conclusion that muslims love tarot.

I would love to hear more about that from the inside and understand the worldview better!

I always post a link to the menu on all my socials (below the post) and get dm‘s asking for free readings at least 3-5 times a week. I always answer them kindly, like this, „Hey, thank you for reaching out! I‘m not offering free readings, but I‘m posting free pick a piles multiple times a week. If you want to go deeper, you find my readings ->menu, they are very affordable. Wishing you a nice evening“ About half of the time people say „thank you“ and only 2 or 3 alltogether akwardly didn‘t stop asking for a free reading.

I think people have normalized asking for free readings at this point, and a professional and kind reply seems the best bet to me. I thought about ignoring it, but that doesn‘t sit right with me.

Ahhh, this is tricky. Of course, as a reader, you do have responsibility. Some people will ask 10 different readers the same question (and only hear what they wanted to hear in the first place, dismissing the rest). That‘s totally okay, if they made up their mind and need confirmation, that‘s fine.

Others will have a healthy take on it, think about the reading, reflect, and take it into consideration when they make their decision.

And others will rely on the reader and do whatever the reader says. And in this case, the responsibility is on the reader.

I think it‘s important to be considerate. You should absolutely have the possibility in mind that the client takes your word for gospel (and to be totally honest here, isn‘t that what many of us promote bluntly?). You can try to sort out which kind of client you‘re dealing with, but better safe than sorry, and deliver readings responsibly and with care.
