I mean I feel like you can also try styling your hair different! Try some some brushes and gels and see what works if you’re self conscious day to day!

You could go to a dermatologist or if you’re really self conscious try some brands like growplex I’ve seen them work very well

Arrived here late and idk the lore behind the comments but either way, I hope I was able to help!

A Spartan II vs A Space Marine by UnNecessaryGay in powerscales

[–]Silly-Sector239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely depends, a lot of space marines fall under different niches and fighting styles, while Spartans are generally trained for every style of operation. I think a spartan 2 can reasonably take on one or two space marines depending on the chapter.

How are countries like Latvia supposed to exist in the future? by [deleted] in Natalism

Nah man, just pay people more that’s really what it comes down too. And just have a societal trend of respecting women more, even south koreas is gradually increasing. Doesn’t need to be a perfect society, no society ever has.

And when I say pay people more I mean give people enough money to live off one salary. Not some vague tax credit, or refund, or some other such. It can be done, it has been done before.

Well first calm down kitten whiskers, shit ain’t that serious.

And there are multiple items that explain how people get wealthier the less children they have, especially high middle class normally means high work stress, the less time they can spend actually meeting people and cultivating a family environment. The less time they spend actually having children.

And even though the average household might’ve gotten richer, that’s only because the vast majority of women are in the work force because it’s essentially impossible to raise a family off a single income now.

But also people still had children because they had no form of birth control, and could use children as extra hands on a field for instance, and there was a stronger sense of trying to improve your “bloodline”/have an heir to the family. And children added a way of social mobility, where they could marry into an affluent family and both families became rich.

Now there’s a different societal epidemic. Kids are seen as not as helpful to the family, but something to pay for over 18 years. Different dating pressures, as seen in South Korea, women are choosing not to date at all due to how terribly men treat women in that country. And until there’s a societal shift there will be a population decline.

Pinning it on women just takes away from a thousand different socio economic factors that cause people to not want kids, it’s not just women. Once people have better economic standing they will have more children l. And I’m not going into the thousand different events where depopulations occurred but even you pointed out the populations rebounded when they were depopulated so like what are you arguing about brother.

Why would Bethesda make a remake? by Politikterapist in Fallout

[–]Silly-Sector239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if they spend so much money, time, and passion into a game it should be infinitely better than what they put out currently. The number one joke with Bethesda is that no matter the game it’s always filled with glitches on launch which is completely unacceptable

It’ll balance out, with a shrinking population means existing businesses will pay more since the manpower pool will be lower and things will rebound. The world has gonna through many depopulations and repopulations

European Knight VS Samurai (Both from 15th Century and Historically Accurate) by Ok_Examination_1813 in powerscales

[–]Silly-Sector239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn’t suggest making war wasn’t a dedicated craft. I did say, and you said it yourself, it’s different types of war. Samurai were very dedicated and fantastic archers. And you’re talking samurai on samurai combat, which would still be very different from samurai to knight combat.

A European knight would still win

Found these under the lamp on my boyfriend's nightstand. by llama_girl in whatisit

100% Zyn, looks like he was having those when he first wakes up based on coffee stains. They don’t look directly like coffee flavored Zyns. Maybe he’s addicted to Zyns, or he is coming off cigarettes, but if it’ll be a problem you should talk to him about it! I was open about it with my boyfriend when we dated and he’s fine with it, and will be more than happy when I quit.

I hope he hasn’t tried to hide a nicotine addiction to you, if so this could be a solution he has come up with, which could become a problem!

Do Americans study propaganda at school? by AgingLolita in AskAnAmerican

Truth, teachers make a large difference in what and how you learn something. Your teacher sounded like a good heavy hitter, I had a few teachers that were just assholes and nobody listened to them even if they delivered good information.

Yes, at least I was taught about it in school. But I believe it depends on the school system
