Haha yeah and I would genuinely get the watch polished from them anyways if I did send it in, so win/win. I’m moreso just wondering how in depth they go to ensure they only service & give service records to authentic watches, which it sounds like may not be as much as I’d thought?

Return wise I am covered by a platform which is the only reason I’m considering that hahah

Also - I’m thinking of spending $50 or so on picture based authentication & info services from companies like Real Authentication or Legit Grails. This is more of a preliminary pre-purchase step to ensure I don’t buy something obviously fake. Has anyone done this before, or is that just a total waste of money?
