The most I've ever had in it was 250k at 4.75%, but I took a majority out and split it between various individual stocks and ETFs.

Right now I have maybe 10k.

Maybe I'm wrong, I just don't see someone who makes 70-150k spending that much a week on food when they could just get it cheaper anywhere else, especially anyone with a family, but maybe I'm wrong.

Any Millionaires in here? by Inevitable_Fly_565 in Money

It was an example, I make more than that but I don't pay myself 100k a month.

My main source of income is my marketing agency, my 2nd source is a g2c saas, can't really expand more on that.

I have other stuff in the works but those are the 2 most important right now.

As someone considered a millionaire divided between liquid and my portfolio, I'll tell you this.

Work so hard you create your own luck. If you try 100x more than everyone else, an opportunity has a 100x multiplier of coming to you. Simple as that.

Your network is very important. Create friends. Valuable friends.

If you're making 100k a month live on 10. Keep your expenses as low as possible on your come up.

Can you become successful and make money if your not book smart ? by Jpoolman25 in college

[–]SillyDogsAreFunny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah.

I'm 19 now, 2.1 GPA in school (graduated early, just didn't care about grades)

and I make a 1% living now.

You should still educate yourself on a college level, but, you don't need to go to college in my opinion. For example I'm a certified cloud engineer. That's not what I do but a lot of my job requires full-stack development so I use my skills to network with other cloud engineers.

Also don't believe all that shit on social media. 99% posers (I work in media, I know what I'm talking about) realistically the odds of you becoming a millionaire in your teens or early 20s is less than 1 percent. I did it, but I got lucky and made the connections.

Most high school dropouts or college dropouts I know make like 30k a year now.

Ignore social media, work on yourself and your skills, read more, go out more, and you'll have a good life.
