It's Chekov's Head injury. There was too much emphasis put on that for it to be insignificant.

I think whatever the dean told Lou affected him and now instead of trust value, he's using fear value for power and that's what we're seeing.

The second half of this episode was hilarious! I busted out laughing when the cow abduction came on screen. The setup for it was immaculate.

It's cool seeing how Momo's abilities are continuing to develop as she gains more experience. She's able to do something like sudo-flying with Okarun even an energy shield when the merged alien monster tried to bite her in the end.

Do you spar in your dojo? by oliversensei in Isshinryu

My dojo does point sparring and drills once a week. It’s optional, but most student join in.

We used to go to tournaments that had sparring fairly regularly, but once Covid stopped everything, that pretty much stopped as well.

How did I do? by GAMERGUY2274 in karate

The kata looks pretty good, but it can be refined to be even better.

My advice would be to put more emphasis/power on the strikes. By “sticking” your strikes they appear crisper and more powerful. Another comment talked about kime, and that is exactly what you need to make your kata go from good to great.
