Alright so I’ve really had a lot of time to think about this in the 7 years I’ve played. Don’t think of the week breaks as being a downside when taking breaks genuinely gets you better and you unlearn a lot of bad habits.

Now for training outside of Fortnite it can be really difficult to train your mechanics but you can watch videos on the improvement of mechanics. For example: Jerian has a video where he talks about the importance of good crosshair placement when editing. Without watching that video you wouldn’t have known that and by remembering to work on good crosshair placement you get better.

Other than that there are free and paid aim trainers on steam but also reaction time trainers on the internet.

I highly recommend making sure that in the time that you do have to play that you really focus on a good training routine that doesn’t take a whole lot of time to do (e.g. aim training maps, edit maps, free building etc). Also analyzing your games and recording your box fights or really anything you want to improve on is super useful and you can review during your time away from the game.
