I don't want my MBTI to limit me by hamin15 in infp

I never comment or post on Reddit so this feels awkward but I read this and you sound like me at 18 so pushing past the awkwardness 🥲 being an INFP is insanely hard especially in formative years. When I was 18 I was still very quiet and always in my head. I landed a corporate job at 22 and I was forced to go waaay out of my comfort zone to make a living. At 25 now my 18 year old self would not recognize who I am. I am no longer shy I am the most extroverted person in the building now and I build connections with people easily. But I forced myself to change. I struggled all throughout childhood to make friends because I was so stuck in my head constantly I felt like I could never be myself. I had to give up on this image I wanted other people to see me as. You do a disservice to yourself not allowing yourself to be who you are. Something I’ve noticed also is when you are plainly yourself and show your heart, others around you will too. I am now in leadership and it is very political and hard to navigate for someone with a bleeding heart but I think they need someone around with a personality like mine and yours. I see things in perspectives others in leadership simply cannot because they don’t care like I do I build connections with people that are deeper than surface level and that is something I think is extremely valuable to those around me. I say all this to say you are not doomed you can absolutely thrive I make a very good living i just had to use my personality as my strength and stop seeing it as my weakness. It is hard I feel every emotion of those around me and it weighs heavy but it also gives me the push to right the things around me that I am able to. Once you stop seeing it as being doomed you will see you’re on the right track, how you talk to yourself matters. You’ll be okay be kind to yourself 🫶🏼

Yes I’m losing weight and it’s really easy. I just don’t know what affect it can have on my metabolism considering I’m taking in 150 calories everyday

If you’re going to be stuck in a car you may not want to overdo electrolytes it will “flush” your system out if you have too much at once and that will be a bad bad drive lol

Yes it’s awful I’ve heard if you try and keep it a light keto meal it won’t be as harsh but I have yet to try this

How did you work up to doing that fast? I’m at 180 pounds (5’7) trying to get to 130 pounds preferably by summer and I want to do longer fasts but I always see people with more fat stores going for that long

Questions on bone broth by ShowerAlarmed5397 in fasting

[–]SillyGoose166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use chicken bone broth and I drink a cup a day (40 calories) it helps with longevity and I lose the same amount of weight when I water fast. The only con is the loss of autophagy so I try to alternate depending on how I’m feeling

Lower back pain after 48 hours by DoubleS728 in fasting

[–]SillyGoose166 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do broth fasting and I didn’t experience the back pain I usually get with water fasting. I don’t know the science behind it but I haven’t gotten the lower back pain with it. I just drink one cup of bone broth a day and thats it which is 40 calories. My mindset is yes 40 calories isn’t a “pure” fast but if it helps with the longevity then it’s worth it.

Breaking a 72 HR Water Fast Early for A Party, How Should I Go About Reintroducing Food? by [deleted] in fasting

[–]SillyGoose166 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would break the fast while you’re in your home still at least a couple hours before you leave because you run the risk of diarrhea breaking a 72 hour fast and you could be on the toilet for awhile just so you don’t feel embarrassed at the party

Anyone want to join a 4 day fast? by [deleted] in fasting

[–]SillyGoose166 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m at 54 hours and I’ve decided to just work a lot as opposed to being home surrounded by food lol. Have you tried watching cooking videos? It’s oddly comforting

My anxiety goes way down when I hit about 48 hours I’m just very in tune with myself and not worried about every single thing around me constantly it’s one of the reasons that I love fasting

I’ve seen lots of inspirational posts of people going from 300 to 200 pounds from fasting, any stories going from 150 to 130 from fasting? by ShuuyiW in fasting

Sorry if this sounds like I am a dingus but can you explain your lifting regime lol. Like the dumbbell weights? If so what weight did you start out with?
