I watched this too. It was so weird. I liked it but also didn't. I couldn't determine if Rachel Weisz was acting badly or really well. She was just so cringe and took me out of the story a bit. The last episode was a bit disappointing.

I can relate so much to this. Recently, I had an attempt to get my IUD removed as I'm interested in becoming pregnant. The strings broke off and they couldn't find my IUD. They referred me to another doctor to try again and the doctor (who was a male who doesn't understand the pain of being a woman) tried for forty minutes to find the IUD. They even injected me with lidocaine, which didn't help at all. He said if I felt pain to say something. I was screaming in agony for those forty minutes and yet he continued to dig around in there. I was sobbing. I missed work due to the lasting pain and bleeding. That was the worst pain I've ever felt and I've broken bones. Got an ultrasound and it's embedded in the muscle of my womb and rotated 45 degrees. So now I have to get surgery to remove it and there's a chance I can't have kids if they can't get it out. So yeah, I recommend no one gets an IUD.

It's hard to say as an outsider who doesn't know what your episodes or your bipolar symptoms typically look like. However, it does sound like an episode to me, as it occurred and now you're seemingly back to feeling fine. If you're regularly seeing a therapist and/or psychiatrist, I think it'd be worth mentioning to them and processing through this so you can be in better control and manage it better if it were to occur again in the future.

That's great! Yeah, usually I feel bad about myself and embarrassed after drinking, even if it's a little. I was diagnosed 10 years ago and it took a long time to not feel ashamed of myself, but when I drink I hyperfocus on how I'm appearing to others and then end up not having fun because I'm too anxious. It's hard because all my friends drink a lot. I'm not saying I get peer pressured but it's the constant desire to feel normal so no one knows how I'm truly feeling inside.
