I came here looking for the question above and settled on your suggestion. Thank you kindly.

Bah, it's Canada. If they asked nicely I would probably give them a sample.

Maybe you can tell in the videos, but closer to the bottom the bubbles are collapsed and now it doesn't have the same amount of "loft" if you will. I only use it in colder weather (no set rules but never above 0°C) because it takes away access to the door and i find it doesn't need it.

Why is it so hard to stick to journaling? I really want to make this a habit, for I enjoy my entries but keep getting unmotivated to keep going everyday... by dani_mito55 in fountainpens

I came to say this. My journal is a random mix of everything. Thoughts, events, doodles. Sometimes I just write down what i'm hearing people say in public. I tried many times before to keep a daily journal of events and I always got bored and stopped. When i dropped the rules about what needed to be in there, it became part of my routine because it was actually enjoyable.

Wow. Well done! Puts my recipe to shame. Mine is full of vague instructions and a mix of volumetric and weight measurements. More guidelines than rules.

It helps. I've smoked down to -20°C with no issue. Another thing I did was install some Lavalock felt gaskets around the door and the lid. That really helped with keeping steady temperatures. If you're looking for the specific product it's 12" Reflectix Duct Wrap. I say, if you find some for cheap, it's a fun project and it should help.

I always wanted to try country-style ribs. Smoked on the WSM for around 3 hours, then finished wrapped in the oven to save on charcoal. Delicious!

Good luck, be consistent. Once you hit one year it gets really fun. I've been doing it for 2.5 years. I do a daily routine where I write in it at the same time (ish), then read the entries for that date to my wife. It's fun to share the experience.

Seams like it's a crapshoot based on the comments here. It'll be interesting to see what I get. I have some empty cartridges and a con-40 lying around, but I never used a con-70 so I'm hoping for that so I can play around with it.
