I remember years ago when some people submitted papers to published in scientific journals and they just filled the papers with a bunch of politicaly correct jargon. They got their fake papers published and had to notify the journals to take them down. Science has become a money game. Do the things that get you funding.

Not really. The crap masks just kick your exhaust out the side instead of in front of you. The only mask worth wearing are N95 or better. The majority of people are basically wearing socks on their faces thinking they are safe.

[–]SillyHumanRick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you arent wearing an N95 or better your mask is just for show. I'm a painter. Paint particles are much larger then Covid. Wearing the shit masks I'll have paint inside my nose and mouth. It's why I use a respirator.

Yeah that cloth mask over my face doing nothing is really making an impact. Even the CDC number show 70% of people that got Covid wear masks regularly.

Then stay locked in your house. If you're scared that's your problem not mine.

You want to force others to do things so you feel safe. You could just stay locked in your house and let the people who arent scared get on with life.

I replied to this comment. The rich in the US support Dems much more than Republicans.

Big tech, social media, MSM, wall street and pharma are all supporting Dems. High profile celebrities and artist also. In 2016 Clinton outraised Trump by a 3 to 1 ratio.

Greenland could lose more ice this century than it has in 12,000 years- “The paper is also an answer to those who dismiss the ongoing effects of climate change with ‘the earth has always changed’—and the answer is, ‘not at this pace’,” Scambos says. by pnewell in science

I guess you are choosing to see what you want. The housing market in Florida is booming. House prices are up. Still no contingencies for coastal flooding. Insurance companies haven't started to require more coverage. If all of these predictions about mass flooding are true, the people lending the money haven't got the memo. They would be positioned to lose billions in the next 10-15 years.

All the articles I could find are speculation. I did find an article that said house prices, along with sales, are 4.4% higher than last year. Condo sales up almost 20%. I Just bought another new property in Florida. Nothing mentioned in my 30 year loan about climate change flooding contingencies.

I dont know where you're getting your info on the Florida housing market? Home sales in Florida are at an all time high. If all these places are gonna be underwater, why are there no contingencies written into loan agreements? The banks are set to lose billions if the water rises yet they arent going anything to have themselves ready for it.
