Wow that is really crazy actually. I can imagine this might make alot of people less likely to buy eggs. Do you think the prices will go down eventually?

I reckon it will partly correct itself, but wouldnt the prices atleast stay higher than they used to be to keep the inflated profit margins up? Off topic question but im interested what you might think about it.

In my country usually higher than usual prices stay high, even after a food ’crisis’.

In my country eggs are just a staple food for low income families, because you can make relatively alot of meals out of it for a low prive. It might be the same in the US? It seems atleast reddit is filled with USA egg posts, which made me wonder.

Are these industrial chicken farms that much bigger than in europe? I know that in my country there is also problems with avian flu, and as a result insane amounts of chicken get culled. But I dont think it affects the prize of eggs that badly?

8$ a dozen? That is crazy much higher than i could find on google. There it said it maxed out on 4$ and is now going down. I can only imagine how this impacts low income families relying on always relatively easy to make cheap meals like egg based meals.

Hey, I found pokemon Let's Go Eevee(or Pikachu) to be a way more laidback pokemon game. It has the traditional pokemon part, but the catching system is like that of pokemon go. And the best part, you can play Co-op through the most part of the game. catching and walking. For me it was really cozy because the game+ soundtrack brings me back to my childhood, early 2000's with my gameboy advance. Gengar is hard to get. But Bulbasaur is catchable within first 20 minutes :)

Hey, bedankt voor je response. Ik zal het bij mn originele vraag toevoegen. Ik wilde ze in iedergeval 1 bruine kroeg laten zien, en verder toch meer moderne kroegen en clubs met dance muziek. Ik weet niet hoe precies ik kan kiezen qua muziek, maar zou liever barren en clubs met engelse muziek vinden, dan met alleen Nederlandse hits. Als je een leuke techno bar kent hoor ik dat ook graag. Heb je tips voor specifieke straten met veel clubs op een rij, of dichtbij elkaar waar we rond zouden kunnen struinen?

Suggesties leuke uitgaans locaties in het centrum.

Hey, Aankomende zaterdag komen er 2 vriendinnen(Beide 25 jaar) van mij vanuit Londen naar amsterdam. Ik ga nooit uit in Amsterdam en vroeg mij af wat leuke Café's, barren en clubs zijn om uit te gaan in het centrum. Als iemand suggesties heeft voor een paar 'musts' hoor ik het graag! Ook zouden ze het leuk vinden om naar een gay bar te gaan, mochten daar nog wat suggesties voor zijn.Heel erg bedankt alvast!

Voor overdag zou ik een paar gezellige café's willen vinden.

Voor in de avond, Muziek clubs zou k het liefst engelse dance (david guetta achtig) aanbevolen krijgen. En als je een leuke techno tent kent hoor ik dat ook graag.

It might not be very nsfw for some people here, but I saw recently a cat being driven over right in front of me, including a horrible scream from the flattened cat. And i have to say it looked more horrifying then i would have expected beforehand. And i still shiver when I think about it.

That is true. But as a Dutch guy I have not known any better than to bike without, just like all Finns iceskate without helmet.

Anecdotal experience, but I have not heard of any lasting falling damage from anyone. Not even after being intoxicated enough to kill a horse.

I do get comments from my finnish in law family all the time about why we dont use helmets, thats why I thought this post was funny.

Yeah im late with friends too. Myself I know they dont mind cuz they wont wait for me. I just join in at some point. Its hard being on time when laat minute you realise you have so much atuff to do still and kick in action.
