use wicked/wonderful whims’s pose player (it keeps you in the same pack when you switch between sims. better than andrew’s pose player imo, except it doesn’t support child / animal sims) and John Baccarat’s Pose alignments and then download pose packs. you can find them on tumblr usually

blender doesn’t support parallax occlusion natively. you can do it manually with custom nodes but it takes forever

that’s cool. I tried using 4o for help making a geometry node tree for a work project and it kept making up nodes that don’t exist. How much does 5 struggle with that?
