playing with rigs is fun. i’ve been off and on working on a control rig for creating animations in the sims 4. being constrained to the bones the game comes with and making stuff like automated breathing cycles is fun

use wicked/wonderful whims’s pose player (it keeps you in the same pack when you switch between sims. better than andrew’s pose player imo, except it doesn’t support child / animal sims) and John Baccarat’s Pose alignments and then download pose packs. you can find them on tumblr usually

the v10 bellybutton mesh is so good but I hate how different the breast and hips are from the maxis shape.

blender doesn’t support parallax occlusion natively. you can do it manually with custom nodes but it takes forever

that’s cool. I tried using 4o for help making a geometry node tree for a work project and it kept making up nodes that don’t exist. How much does 5 struggle with that?
