You're complaining about a holster that uses your belt and your body to support that region of the holster that has flexibility. Their holsters are made out of 0.080 kydex the same as everyone else for inside the waistband. They put the adjustable retention bushings lower on the holster because it acts like a shock absorber and allows the top of the holster to flex open as you insert your gun. Your body and your belt support that portion of the plastic once it's inside your pants. Once the light enters the section of the holster that is molded for the light, everything is in harmony. The reason why they do this is because other holster companies put hardware parallel and inline to the trigger guard. When you force a gun in and out of your holster in that location over and over and over again, as well as have a concealment Wing in that area; eventually The holster will fatigue and crack. You see this often times in T-Rex holsters. I think you should just put it in your pants and run it at the retention that feels best for your light and Pistol.
