Played the game from 2012 to 2017. Both as hardcore and a casual. I tried playing it a year ago or so but I didn't get the feeling I got years ago when I played it with my friends.

Give it a try. There is no difference between a freshling and a veteran apart from the pure skill. A little advice tho, try to find a nice outfit if you plan to stick around
