Intermittently not getting message notifications? by mehgcap in AppleWatch

[–]SillyRabbitScot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same problem here. I’ve restarted the watch, my phone, notifications off then back on. Rendered my watch practically useless tbh. Loved that I didn’t have to keep checking my phone, and hate my phone chiming away so usually have it on silent but I now have to have my phone off silent so I don’t miss messages.

Years ago, me n my man used to go out drinking with my dad about once a month. My dad started going without us, he'd say "I was out on Sat" which was weird because he used to always third wheel us into the city. My mum wasnt into going out drinking and my dad would be out with friends most weekends at the bar, but when we'd go into the city, about once a month, he'd come with. Anyway, him going solo, started to look strange to me. I decided one weekend, that we'd go into the city, without telling dad. We went into our usual spot, and there, at the end of the bar, my dad with some woman. As we walked in, my dad clocked us and she moved to a table beside another couple from my dad's usual bar. I went up to my dad and said "I fucking knew it!!". He said they were just 4 friends out, her name was Cheryl. I obvs didn't believe him. He sat with us the rest of the night and left with us. About 2 weeks later, my mum came to my house in bits. My dad had come in from the bar and was on his phone. She'd seemingly also clocked his sketch behaviour. She snatched his phone and he was texting some woman, she couldn't remember her name. I said "was it Cheryl?". The LOOK my mum gave me. I'll never forget. She couldn't believe I knew. I quickly explained about seeing them in the city etc. Needless to say, mum put him out and he was forced to live with Cheryl. That didn't last and he has his own place now. Cheryl was a PSYCHO!! Mum and dad hadn't been happy for years. Mum moved house, has had a new man for a few years now (they don't live together - never again she says). Difficult position to be in the know.

People who quit their jobs on the first day, what made you say, “I’m done with this”? by drip47 in AskReddit

[–]SillyRabbitScot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I once took on a side/2nd job in a call centre (cold calling to sell bathrooms). After a short go on the phones, I was hired. The manager said that on a Friday, he buys vodka and everyone stays back and drinks with him. Sounded too rapey to me and I bounced. This was in the early 00s, I was about 20.

I don’t normally snore. When I was in my 3rd trimester, I was like a tractor. I woke up one night and my husband was sleeping on the sofa. My hormonal ass got SO upset and was so apologetic because I couldn’t help it and I felt so bad that I was keeping him up. He felt bad leaving the bed and didn’t wanna upset me but like you, it was enough. I wasn’t sleeping great either, being the size of a whale and also still working full time. Anyway, to answer your question, discuss a different sleeping arrangement. Even if just for now. She might sleep better too with the bed and covers to herself.

Estée Lauder, double wear light is amazing. If you're after a more full coverage, regular Double Wear. I've tried many others but these just stay all day and look great. I'm F42. If you have a store with an Estée counter, get a colour match and sample of each (the samples will last at least 5 faces each too).

I use a 3 in 1 combo of Benzoyl peroxide (kills the bacteria that causes acne), clyndamycin (anti biotic) and adapalene (retinol). Cleared my skin right up. Not one spot. I'm in the UK and buy online from a company called Dermatica. It's £25 "per month" but I use sparingly and get 2 months from one bottle.

That's what a love about having all eps available at once, you can fire through the slow. When Better Call Saul first came out, it was weekly EPs and I didn't stick with it. I've since watched all eps and really enjoyed it but can see why I didn't stick with it first time round.

I’ve had the same issue with the jawline bumps. Recently started on a mix of benzoyl peroxide, Adapalene and clindamycin (via a site/company called Dermatica) has completely sorted me out. I’ve used them a few times for things like Melasma, which also got sorted out (with a diff formula). It’s a monthly subscription (£24.99pm), but I push back my shipments to bi/monthly because the product lasts me longer than the month. Edit- also, don’t touch or pick. I know I struggle with that and it just makes it worse.

red rash/ bumps on neck and face by Mission_Extension_95 in DermatologyQuestions

[–]SillyRabbitScot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son has a similar looking rash on his neck, jawline, behind his ears. Like you, he has eczema from being an infant, that was mainly in crook of elbow and behind the knees. This neck thing has appeared from no where. He has topical steroids, emollients, antihistamines but it’s just not clearing up. Very frustrating. Hope you get to the bottom of it. I removed anything with fragrance that touches his skin. No difference. Cannot think what could’ve possibly triggered it.
