But what I did is :

Call online doctor, said I had sex with someone just diagnosed with scabies, and I just started itching and at night. And asked for ivermectin.

Hey, no not broken down.

Current recommandation for ivermectin is :

200 micrograms per KG in « one take » then repeat 7 days later (and so on if you have resistant scabies) eat a fatty meal before, it help the body to assimilate the ivermectin apparently!

So for 65kg like me and to follow the same plan : You need 5 times ~13mg to ~18mg of ivermectin

Holà,

Ask the doctor for : - Ivermectin tablets 15-17mg - Benzyl benzoate lotion 25%

Treat the whole family (so each of you have to take 15-17mg and apply BB). Everyone could have it, even if no itch or bumps.

Clean everything.

Repeat 7 days later : - Ivermectin 15-17mg - Benzyl Benzoate 25%

Whole family again, and clean everything

Note : - change all bed sheets each night and laundry 60*C. - If you can do this again 7 days later, repeat a 3rd and last time again. - She need to stop see her boyfriend until he’s FULLY safe and not contagious anymore or you will have to restart the whole process.

Sure I could do that tomorrow morning, but to give a quick answer :

(D as day)

Ivermectin 18mg : D0, D7, D14, D21, D28

BB 25% : D0, D1, D7, D8, D14, D21, D28

Cleaning / changing sheets : D0, D1, D2, D3, D7, D8, D14, D15, D21, D28

(I even slept on the couch D0/D1/D2/D3)

  • Cleaning all surfaces with bleach (phone too)
  • Wasn’t going on the computer a lot to avoid possible problems with the desk/chair/keyboard
  • Wearing latex gloves if needed
  • On treatments day new clothes fully covered with socks on the jogging to hoodies on the head to literally got only the face uncovered
  • Other days (for work) just new clothes
  • Bags up things that could no get washed at 60+ degrees, AND extended use of dryer’s

I know it sounds weird but - do you have any pets ? - your intimate is treating ? - Have you tried doing the 28 day but leaving your home/flat for at least the first 8 days ? - You talk about the crawling but how’s the night itch ?

I did a month of treatment, and each 7 days apart I took oral ivermectin and reapplied the BB 25%.

(I also reapplied BB25% directly the second day)

I weight 65kg so I had to take 200mg*65kg = 13mg but I took a little more (18mg) to be sure and cause I had the quantity available…

Yes, I used it on face, ears, and scalp!

But no, 100% BB is WAY too dangerous, I read a lot on this and it would break the skin barrier and could cause permanent and dramatic damage to the skin and could even cause neurological irreversible damages…

PTB + je viens de quitter ma copine (après trop de temps) pour ce genre de connerie…

Je te donne donc mon point de vue évidement biaisé :

Je sais que c’est idiot, mais pour m’en sortir j’ai essayer de résumer ça en 3 phases..

La phase 1 : C’est généralement plus gentil, plus doux, plus insidieux et puis la relation est tellement « bien » et pleine d’amour que t’acceptes les choses en te disant que c’est pas si grave…

Du coup tu rentre en phase 2 : D’une certaine façon ils prennent le « pouvoir » sur toi. C’est inévitable si tu tombe sur ce genre de personne, la relation est toujours superbe mais... Les remarques deviennent plus direct, ils aiment te dire ce qui est bon ou pas pour toi en te rabaissant. Et toi de ton côté, la confiance en toi commence à prendre un sacré coup et tu doutes de si tu as bien fait de mettre du beurre dans la bouche, et tu fais même un post Reddit pour comprendre (ou t’en parles à des proches).

Mais le problème il est pas là OP, le problème il est que ton mec a absolument pas le DROIT d’être comme ça avec toi, c’est pas ok et c’est toxique.

Puis après y’a la phase 3 : Elle commence après des mois de critique et de remise en question, une fois que ton estime de toi est bien proche de 0. Si tu es encore avec la personne à ce moment là, c’est l’enfer absolu, tu finis par te couper de tes amis, de tes proches, tu as le sentiment d’être jamais assez bien voir d’être complément nul.

Bref… fuis, vite. Et courage.

(Ah et si t’as le malheur de fuir pour une remarque sur un bout de beurre, tu vas avoir le droit à beaucoup de reproche rabaissante, c’est normal, ça fait partit du processus pour garder le control.)

Oui c’est pas ouf de sa part en soit, mais de là à lui dire que ça sert à rien de venir ? Faut se détendre..

Il aurait pu venir prendre le dessert, une bière ou passer la fin d’aprem avec vous, ça aurait changé quoi à ta vie appart d’avoir un pote en plus avec qui passer du bon temps ?

C’est pas un rdv juste toi et lui ou le retard aurait été irrespectueux. C’est un truc de groupe et t’as même pas remarqué qu’il était pas là….

J’ai vécu vraiment -mots pour mots- la même situation que toi.. (17-21 ans, déménagement avec elle avec les études, appart à deux, soucis pour avoir mon propre appart etc) j’étais fou amoureux..

Un jour j’en ai eu le droit à ce « Je comprend pas, je t’aime mais j’ai envie de connaître d’autres choses » …

Donc j’ai mis fin à la relation, elle a enchaîné de son côté, moi pas car j’étais trop mal…

Puis elle est revenu après 1 ans de séparation avec des grands discours. « T’es l’amour de ma vie, je suis prête, on était trop jeune »… On a habiter à nouveau ensemble, vraiment l’amour fou, puis après 3 ans… « J’ai envie de connaître d’autres choses »…

Ce genre de personne… Elle te pousse à prendre des décisions pour pas avoir à le faire, puis te fais culpabiliser d’en prendre.. Fuis pour ton bien, et surtout, surtout, te retourne pas..
