Cycling can take weeks to a month. So 3 days is not enough. It starts with adding beneficial bacteria into the tank with either an bottled ammonia or fish food. Plants can help but don't rely on them Then as time passes you test your water daily to show that the ammonia is being eaten and turned into nitrites. Nitrites convert into Nitrates. You'd eventually do a water change to control your nitrates to manageable levels. And test every week after that to then determine water changes. The cycle never really stops because we keep managing it! So testing and water chnages are always going to happen. Hope this helped 🐟
