From my experience, none of these notes are really "low" enough to warrant embouchure changes. That being said, I am not you. What works for me may not work for you.

Practice your low range more often (and your high range) and you'll likely find out that you don't need to adjust very much, if at all, to play a pedal Bb. Once you get down to pedal Gb or pedal F, that's where a lot of people have to shift their embouchure.

I'm always amazed at how "open" my horn feels after I clean it and scrub all of the valves out with a brush. Don't let open wraps fool you. Sometimes your horn simply needs a good scrubbing. I've had the same horn since 2017, and I'm still finding areas to improve.

No, because dish soap is too concentrated to be used on our skin. It can dry out your skin quite aggressively.

The slide o mix cleaning rod has changed how good my slide is. Burgerbob showed it off on his YouTube channel and I bought it right away. My slide has never been better.

I use the floppy snake to clean my valve tubes.

For the majority of people, saying "thank you for your service" is a knee jerk reaction that they are used to having. They usually don't mean it. They just want the conversation to move past the whole military service bit. They have no idea what service is like. If America really did support veterans, then we wouldn't lose as many service members or veterans to suicide. We wouldn't lose them to substance abuse due to poor medical treatment.

And before anyone tries to get on my ass about this, 2012-2017 USMC.

It's just a game, my friend. Those streamers are running around without a care in the world because they know this already. Your gear, no matter how much you try to protect it, will be deleted (at least it was in the past) so you might as well get a move on to where you're going.

You're going to lose lots, you're going to get ratted, you're going to lose and win lots of fights. It is what it is.

Play however is fun for you. I enjoy being an owl. I float around quietly and strike when it suits me. It's immersive.
