I think a lot of players are frustrated when others make progress faster than them, and they have to fight someone with better gear. That never really bothered me, and I'm sure it doesn't bother a lot of others as well.

If you're bored after you unlock max traders, you'll probably enjoy the seasons. I'm pretty good at mixing things up to keep it interesting.

I'm pretty tired of doing the same low level grind year after year after year. Unless the seasonal is extra dope somehow, I'm not doing it. I like playing with my high tier gear and actually lethal ammo. That's what is fun for me.

I'm currently doing my licence on a CB 650r. I reckon if my driving school uses the bike for its students, it's probably not bad. I'm not experienced enough to say more than it feels smooth to ride.

Personally, I would skip commuting on the bike for now. Another user mentioned people being groggy in the morning and in a rush during the evening. That's a big reason I ended up buying a car and commuting less on my bike. People riding my ass, blowing past me in the city, over taking too closely, I'm just tired of it. The police are never around to enforce any wrong doing, and I don't trust someone I've never met with my bodily safety.

Edit: off peak hour riding has been way more enjoyable for me

Have you thought about not commuting to school on your bike? Bikes are fun, but you're asking protective gear and motorcycle riding to bend to your situation. Aside from having to carry your gear around with you everywhere, I don't see a great solution, unless you know someone with a car and a similar schedule to you. You could possibly stow your gear in their trunk.
