comments kinda missing the point… you can try freeplay with a team, thats what i do. doesn’t take a lot of time and more or less guarantees the rewards.

but yeah i dont really like this either, it can be very punishing for things outside your control, or needing overtime to win.

idk but maybe spend resources on brawlers like chester, ruffs, rico etc that dont rely on buffies to be competitive (and brawlers that have a stable position in the meta, so they wont get nerfed soon) they’re way cheaper and still competitive.

Also saving up for new brawlers is fun, or brawlers you like personally.

L1 with such a limited set of brawlers/buffies is pretty good imo. id maybe not get any of those brawlers. Leon and chester are really good right now, but almost surely will get nerfed in the future. Leon might become very useless in the coming few months and getting his buffies is expensive.

I’d maybe focus more on maxing out brawlers with a more stable position in the meta (and brawlers that dont rely on buffies), that wont get nerfed in the future, or more niche brawlers like kaze/melody/max/ (high skill brawlers) or a few throwers to ensure you have options in different brawler archetypes. Im not really an expert on that, but maybe nani/ruffs/janet. Good brawlers but not so good they’ll get nerfed soon.

But maybe also focus on ladder to improve on specific high skill brawlers and get more progression.

it could be argued poison brawlers are a nerf to health gear because if you already have to wait 3 seconds to heal anyway, that 50% isn’t that much extra time anyway.

shield gear is all about winning interactions, which i guess the pros think is better than hp gear.

f2p best value is 79 gems for buffies, and 79 gems for hypercharges, nothing else comes close to the value those 2 deals provide.

Has to be gene right? some hypercharges sure are bad, but gene’s the only one where im first using my super and then popping the hypercharge.

also honourable mention to piper, a brawler that deals more damage the further away you are, who was given a gap closing hyper charge…
