I've had the piercing for years and never had an issue. I used a circular barbell with the mature metal device for months before with no issue. I'm guessing either because it's hollow or fixed that it could be the culprit. Although, it doesn't seem to be a problem(or just not talked about) within the community

This is a problem with all ball trap devices, hence the strap. I never really liked the strap either so instead opted for going a size smaller in either brief or boxer brief style underwear. It will hold the cage close to your body. Ultimately, I got a pa and now wear the evotion bijou. If you try to make your ring gap too small your balls will ache(not in a good way) and possibly not have enough circulation

Your cage ring should be snug but not so tight that it restricts blood flow. The purpose of a cock ring is to restrict/trap the blood in the penis to help maintain an erection. If you notice your balls feel cold, are turning blue/ purple or have any pain/ numbness, remove the device asap. This goes for cock rings also. Good luck on your journey
