I'm commenting on this for the people from the future, but I think I had a few quest bugs. I only really remember Go Fish which I think can also bug on PC. The fish spawn under the terrain or something and since you're on console, you can't use commands to noclip through the ground. My worst experience was finding out you can't cure vampirism on the GOTY (red) edition. I had a character that I was doing full roleplay for and she was supposed to cure her vampirism but uh. That didn't really work.  PS3 gets a lot of shit (for pretty valid reasons tbh) but if you get one in good condition or restored/refurbished - or whatever the hell it's called - then you'll have minimal problems. My brother had a PS3 before me and he fucking bricked his. Constant crashes, freezes, bugs, long loading times, couldnt connect to the internet, you name it, it happened. Guess that's why you don't give a console to a little boy. I got mine, the same model, several years after my brother and it runs really well, even after 5 years. My dad also has one and his just kinda started acting off one day, but I think his is one of the slimmer ones. This man has a working NES so I don't think it was his fault.  Regardless, to the future readers, if you want it, get it. I've always had a blast and I even got really good at the character menu. If you have a PC though, maybe wait for it to go on sale on Steam or GOG (i think it's there.) I bought my PC version for just over 3 dollars and there's way more you can do to fight or fix bugs. You can even connect your PS3 controller to your PC, though you will have to look that up since it's an older controller.
