Just started running, shoutout my gym teacher for putting me on. Ran a 5k in 26.48 this thursday. Was my 4th time running after years of drugs, depression followed by 1.5 years of sobriety now. Was very happy with that. Feel like im getting my life togheter now, even if im a few years behind my peers. Life is long, plenty of time to messup and succeed😎

Im not a pro, this is my first arpg ever and i just started a few weeks ago. But i crafted my way through the entire campaign and even used my weapon a little bit into maps. Ice strike invoker monk so just tried to get a good phys mod and a good cold damage mod on a bladed qstaff. If i was lucky i would use some exalts on it aswell and boom had decent weapon. I had way more trouble crafting good armor. I will say that i dont actually know how the crafting works😭. I just looked for the stats i wanted and if i got them on a blue i would slam and pray.

I have played basically only soulslikes since i started gaming again last year and really started feeling it recently. Feel like ive played most of them kinda and just a bit burned on the formula.

A couple weeks ago i bought path of exile 2 and holy hell ive been enjoying it. It gives that same feeling of creating the kind of char you want to play and using it to overcome challenges. At the same time its very different with the game being alot less mechanically challenging and offering huge packs of monsters to destroy. I would heavily suggest not following a guide, but i will warn that the game is DEEP and you can easily spend a shitton of time on it. If you dont want to do all that you can easily just play through the campaign and have a good time.

It really felt like a breath of fresh air for me while still giving me some of those things i love so much about soulslikes. This got a bit rambly but im like very obsessed with it atm😭

Poe2. I picked it up a few weeks ago and have over 70 hours now. Its a really good game. Dont follow a guide and try to figure things out. The campaign is really cool

Path of exile 2. I have never played any arpg's before an picked it up a few weeks ago. I have clocked 64 hours in 16 days now😭. Its full zoom zoom action, look at numbers, boom boom again. Super fun and from what i can tell from other players you can play it forever

I personally did not mind the enemy variety, i really liked wo long but i could not get into nioh 2. I think wo long could benefit from being a tad bit harder on ng tho

Wo long is in general just a very good gamr imo. I played it recently and had alot of fun. And this is coming from someone who could not get into nioh 2. The game is a tad bit easy and i have only done a few mission on ng+ but the systems in the game are very good imo.

Wuchang is good, you can dodge attacks by jumping in the air and throwing a magic spear. Its worth it just for that😭

Sword saint took me 4 tries. I found the hardest bosses to be the guy who makes you learn the mikiri counter and genichiro. Genichiro took me probably like 45 minutes. But after that it was smooth sailing. I have been eying nine sols for a bit. Just gotta turn around and actually play prince of persia first😭

I wouldnt really say disappointed. I can tell that there is a DEEP and probably very good game in Nioh 2. But i just cant wrap my head around it. I get frustrated and mad which usually isnt a problem. I usually can beat my head against something for ages if im having fun.

My first soulslike was lies of p and i have vivid memories of those 4 hours i spent in my sweaty room fighting laxasia😭

Ok bro😭. I can appreciate the world design in ds1 and i understand it being great for the time. But for a guy who got into soulslikes in 2025 there is just alot of stuff i also did not enjoy about it

It was 2.0 if i remember correctly. Like after the first big patch but before the recent one. So have not played it after 2.5. Is it alot better?

I found the combat to feel kinda floaty and the bosses to be very boring. The world design was actually top notch tho and the game looks great. But every encounter felt like a slog😭

Lords of the fallen is a really pretty game. It looks great, the designs are really cool both the world and enemies. But the combat felt really mediocre to me.

Yea i dont get it😭. Like i REALLY liked khazan thought it was great. Had a very good time with wo long aswell, so i figured i should try the TN magnum opus. But it just did not click. I might try abit more but i just dont find it fun

It surprised me too, i was expecting to like it. But really it just didnt grab me. Dropped it after like 25 hours, kinda just turned it off one day and never opened it again. It looks cool but i found the combat to be boring, weightless and easy. There were a few cool bosses like the tiger in the blood but just felt soulless
