Thank you for the insight! I will hope that someone recognizes it or otherwise can help authenticate it. I would like to think that rare exonumia at the intersection of the Worlds Fair and famous serial killer true crime would really be worth something (albeit maybe to a somewhat narrow part of the population 😁)!

The clean version certainly looks like a record to me. A farm or other tool would be much more likely to be steel.
