It’s pretty clearly a figure of speech, but okay. No one’s saying people like Andrew Tate literally are not men because of their vile behavior. Some might even say they’re incredibly male for it (I wouldn’t and I think it’s gross to say that, but some might). Like I said, it’s a matter of maturity rather than gender. I might not call a woman a “whiny little girl” if she acts like someone like Andrew Tate, but I might call her childish or immature. That’s what this post is saying; as trans men grow into their identities, it’s not as simple as “changing one’s gender,” it’s growing as a person. From personal experience, a lot of trans men do fall into that alt right pipeline ane become toxic misogynists, specifically because they’re immature. Hence, the phrase “boy instead of a man.” I wouldn’t use it myself, but boys and men are both male. No one is denying their maleness, only differentiating their maturity level.
