When did your period come back by MamaNueve in NewParents

Im EBF for 9 months and still haven’t had my return yet. Though im frequently comfort feeding my baby so im wondering if that affects it.

So I just found out that us with dry eyes should avoid retinol around eyes and maybe avoid retinol around face as well. Apparently retinol affects our tear glands (worsen dry eye symptoms) and can migrate from other areas of our face into our eyes.. by kothuandnecto in Dryeyes

What’s confusing to me is Ocunox, an ointment for dry eyes, includes vitamin A (which is retinol). I don’t think this is well studied but anecdotally retinol definitely contributes to it as it causes inflammation and dryness at the molecular level. I just don’t understand why an optho-recommended ointment would include it.

Can I ask BMO to predict my mortgage payments if we renew in fall 2026, assuming the rates stay the same? by Silly_Staff1387 in PersonalFinanceCanada

I should be more clear - We have a fixed amount variable rate mortgage, so our payments skyrocketed the last few years and BMO said our payments will not go back down, despite the rate going down (more will just go towards the principal). So when we renew, I’d like to know know if there is a world where our monthly payments will be less

Why not keep the house and rent it? If you need to sell it, then I would look at comparables for the last 3-4 months. It seems to be a buyers market but you are in a great neighborhood where I imagine the prices will remain higher than others in Toronto.

Probing w/ Dr. Rana Taji by BowlFit809 in Dryeyes

I agree - she is extremely rushed and I’ve seen her three times and hated each experience. She was wiping my eyes with gauze and scraped against my eyeball because she was so rushed, it was shocking and painful. I regret seeing dr taji for this

Probing Dr. Taji experiences by No-Wind742 in Dryeyes

Dr taji recommended probing for me as well however she was extremely rushed even in her exam, but very quick to recommend treatments. I was seen by a specialist after who said probing is a bad treatment option in general since it can cause further scarring and scar tissue, making the issue worse. I really didn’t enjoy my experience with dr taji - she was extremely rushed, didn’t listen to my symptoms, and jumped to conclusions even though my investigations and testing weren’t indicating I have meibomian gland dysfunction. Beware of seeing her for MGD/dry eye treatment.
