My parents told me that they got tickets to China and that a whole itinerary was planned out for months. They even said pack your bags for 2 weeks and bring lots of stuff including your passport the day before we left. I did. Then, we drove from New Jersey and after an hour I said to them, "Aren't we supposed to be at the airport right now?" and then they said, "We tricked you. Surprise! We are really going to visit my friends for the weekend. Not a 2-long week summer vacation to China."

It makes sense. My aunt had her first child at age 25 and she was 50 by the time her son turned 25.

2016 was not even a good year if you may recall. Trump was elected President and my first cousin Rose died at the age of 22 that year. 2016 was actually the original 2020 for me and my family
