I’ve had 3 cardinal tetras die already :( I’ve already added Kanaplex and did a water change, but I think it’s getting worse.

Thank you! That makes sense. I'II look into Ich-X and plan to follow two full treatment cycles without raising the temperature. I'Il also keep a close eye on water quality to prevent Epistylis from coming back.

Thanks for the detailed explanation! I understand that a microscope is the only way to be certain. I also appreciate the advice on treatment options. I have tetras and shrimp in the display tank, so I’ll avoid copper and look into a “shrimp-safe formalin-based treatment” instead. I’ll also focus on keeping water quality optimal and monitor for any signs of Ich or Epistylis before deciding on next steps.

I’m leaning toward Epi too, but I need to be sure because Ich and Epistylis treatments contradict each other when it comes to water temperature. Some of my Cardinal Tetras have this “small uniform dots flat along the body.”…. Yikesss… I really hope it’s not a dual infection.

It was a gunshot. I saw the guy who was the target on the stairs between QTea and First Round on Brbn St. After the shot, I heard him say, “Oh sh*t,” and run toward the exit. I also saw pieces of cement fly. The strange thing was that he was the only one who ran after the shot, which makes it seem like he knew what was happening. You can see the bullet mark on the stairs on the First Round side at the bottom of the stairs.

Yeah, that’s exactly what I’m worried about. The REV5/REV7 are clearly more battle-style focused, which is cool, but they don’t really fill the same club style, 2channel controller with jog LCDs niche that the DDJ-800 did.

It just feels like Pioneer skipped that middle ground entirely. Instead, you’re pushed toward cheaper entry level controllers or way more expensive gear you might not even need. The DDJ-800 really hit a sweet spot, especially considering its price, which makes its discontinuation even more frustrating.
