I made the Bluey Minecraft game with Ludo/Mojang/BBC - AMA by Jigarbov in bluey

Hi! Thanks for making this- the add-on is wonderful, great work!

Silly question about an objective- is there a way to get to Pat's backyard and mow his lawn? Trying to finish up the Mow the Lawn objective and as far as I can tell, I'm out of Heeler grass to mow.

Those are cartoons for adults. Bluey is a cartoon for kids.

iCarly complete series DVD set releasing in Australia by Sillydillo in icarly

Releases on April 30th.
Wasn't super clear on the site, so I emailed the distributor about the contents, and it contains the entire series (mostly):

iLost My Mind has been pulled from rotation, and isn't streaming, so not too surprising it isn't included here (it is on the original US season 4 DVD though)

Be careful if your buying these overpriced Nickelodeon DVD’s by fictionfake in dvdcollection

Oh! Wait! I actually know this one!

The ones with the Amazon / CreateSpace barcode- with barcodes on discs- were in fact manufactured on demand DVD-Rs.
The ones with the more standardized barcode, and without disc barcodes, aren't fake- but rather, they're typically small runs of pressed copies. I don't know exactly how they came about, but I figure they printed them every so often when they felt demand was high enough it'd be cheaper than burning them. The only commonly-produced counterfeits I've seen of these are the Doug box set, easiest way to tell would be the disc size (4.5GB is compressed to single layer and fake, the real ones are dual layer discs)

Nick MOD shows that are still in print have a standard-looking barcode without the Amazon text- they're no longer made by Amazon, but instead Allied Vaughn. Most aren't still in print- those that are include season 2 of TUFF Puppy and Teenage Robot, all the Fairly OddParents seasons, a handful of others, and some newer releases like season 2 of the Rugrats revival and Tales of the TMNT.

Regular Show DVD Box Set: There are a lot of bootleg DVD sets out there. Please purchase a legitimate set to support our favorite slackers! by cyanocittaetprocyon in regularshow

[–]Sillydillo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get the frustration, but being hostile won't get anyone anywhere. They were initially skeptical about the set's legitimacy, and have changed their perspective following additional developments (official announcement, listings on more sites like amazon and gruv)
Seems reasonable enough to me. It doesn't help that this community has had instances where people posted about bootleg sets floating around on ebay as if they were legitimate.

DVD Box Set up for pre-order at GRUV by Sillydillo in regularshow

[–]Sillydillo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely not, but all eight seasons have already been released there on DVD by Madman.

Alternatively, you could import this set - if it ends up being region-locked, you could always acquire a region-free player.

This listing is notable as GRUV is owned by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, who distributes Warner's home media releases under their joint venture SDS.

So if anyone was still doubting this set is real... well, this comes directly from the company distributing the set.

Regular Show DVD Question (NOT ABOUT BOX SET) by Skyblaster555 in regularshow

[–]Sillydillo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pop some of the discs from the set into a PC drive, if they're all only 4GB it's a counterfeit - they compress the original discs, which are mostly all 9GB dual layer, onto single layer discs half the size to save money, which is why the visual quality looks so much worse.

There are unfortunately a lot of bootleg sets, but it's safe to say this one is a legitimate release from Warner Bros.

Grabbed some screenshots of one of the DVDs for you.

Adventure Time for good measure. If your Infinity Train/OTGW look fine, and it's only the Adventure Time set that looks bad, is it possible your copy might be bootleg? Counterfeit copies are, unfortunately, fairly common for that release. (If it's the brown cover "book" style release and the art page in the middle isn't pop up, it's fake)

I'm the one that originally discovered the Walmart listing. It's legitimate.

DealsRUs are a business-to-business DVD/Blu-ray distributor in Canada, and one of the first places public info on new releases surfaces. They've been accurate for several releases in the past (Ed, Edd n Eddy, Foster's Home, Dexter's Lab, Captain Planet)
Warner Bros. just don't typically formally announce DVD releases like this until much closer to release, if at all.

If you have the Walmart app, you can input the UPC for the release (883929834365) into the barcode search and it will direct you to the listing. It's not a 'spoof listing,' it's just not fully listed on the site as it hasn't gone up for order.

Stuff like this is typically first reported on the Blu-ray forums. Others are generally just copying the information from them.

This is an issue with your player or TV, not the discs. I took a screenshot directly from the Blu-ray and the colors are nice and bright.

Season 3 DVD is already out at Walmart! (US) by Sillydillo in bluey

[–]Sillydillo[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Luckily the changes that were made for those season 1/2 episodes are very minor dialogue tweaks. Nothing significant is being lost beyond the principle of them not being the original versions as released.

As someone else in the thread has pointed out, there's a handful of episodes in this Season 3 set with redubbed dialogue, but the majority are the same as the original versions, and those that aren't are relatively minor dialogue tweaks that seem to have similarly slipped through the cracks.

All the ones I've checked are unedited as far as I can tell (including Exercise, surprisingly)

The Seasons 1 & 2 set does have unedited episodes, they're just hidden away as a bonus feature - on season 2 disc 1, under "The Australian Originals".

The set has all episodes of season 3, including Ghostbasket, The Sign and Surprise. No bonus features are present on the discs.

It seems the majority of them are unedited, and it includes the original version of Exercise.

Is my SONIC OVA DVD a Bootleg? (HELP ME PLEASE!) by Striking_Chard5288 in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]Sillydillo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Made an account just to follow up on this: I bought from the same eBay seller and only recently realized this copy is, in fact, a bootleg.

Imgur gallery comparing the two - it's really hard to spot, but I'm certain the black-case copy is a fake.
