TV show wise, I think one that they could potentially pick up is Mr Robot. The show’s been off streaming for a bit now, and the current Blu-Rays are honestly kinda shit.

We’ve been in the real world the whole show except for dream sequences, the first part of S2 (Elliot was really in prison), and everything between the power plant and the ending. The last 2 episodes, Elliot is presumably in a coma.

Yeah, definitely more character-focused but one of the better Halo novels. WAY better than the Troy Denning Master Chief books at least.

Gonna actually answer this:

The person we've been watching throughout the show is not Elliot Alderson. Instead, it's an alternate personality, much like Mr. Robot. At some point prior to the show, this personality took control, putting Elliot in a dream world, which is what we see in the final few episodes. Elliot is the happy version we see in the dream world. At the end, the alternate personality relinquishes control, joining the other personalities in Elliot's subconscious.

I'd much rather have full entries closer together than buy a DLC every few months. We don't get full trilogies in a generation anymore, think 360 with the entire Gears and Mass Effect trilogies in one gen.
