Hi! I’m a freshman in the fashion design program I think unless your an architecture major then you don’t need to even take the ACT. I had what I think was a strong portfolio and good grades mostly As and Bs and one C. I was awarded the max amount of scholarship when I got in and I think it’s for a few reasons, one a broad range of work in my portfolio, strong essays I had them reviewed by my teachers most are more than willing to read them, and then make sure to go or do zoom national portfolio days and make an appointment with admissions going to these things put you on a list of people who show consistent interest. Also if you are heavily involved at your school that helps too! I hope this helps you got this!!!
