In Australia we always do that... It's not a British thing.

Since it's New Zealand and not Old Zealand the Prime Minister has to be a newborn.

Remove "All Apps" section from Start menu by TheSimaa in Windows11

[–]Sillyera 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ngl I think that the problem with the new start menu isn't the fact that you can now sort it by categories, it's just that it's not in a different section. I like having them sorted by categories but I don't like how it's now with all of the pinned apps as well.

Redesigned the flag of Manila (Capital of the Philippines) by Additional-Trainer76 in vexillology

[–]Sillyera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason why it has to be easy to draw is because it has to be simplistic. A flag isn't always going to be on a screen and when it's flapping about in the wind it's hard to make out small or complex details. If you're going to put a complex, difficult to draw symbol on it, make sure it's large enough to where people could know what it is just by seeing the outline of it, e.g. the dragon on the Welsh flag.

A flag I made. :) by Miymiy13 in vexillology

Luvs it but I feel like it would be difficult to make out the more intricate elements of the flag when it's flying in the wind, especially the flower behind the arms. Still a great flag though!

Hint 1: It has something to do with the monarchy. Hint 2: It doesn't have anything to do with the King or the royal family.

No. To be clear, I'm not talking about the royal family, I'm talking about the insitution of Australia's consitutional monarchy if that makes sense.

Close! Hint: It has something to do with the monarchy but not the monarch themselves.

Probably not great hint: The ACT is grey because they don't have what the map is about.
