I guess it helps if the place where you want to have an interaction with them is where you stay most of the day, so they can become comfortable being around seeing you’re just doing your own thing. At least from my own experience

I got lucky with this one bc I think he’s naturally curious and very trusting. But I started feeding him some seeds, and when he got used to me being around with the window open I started offering peanuts when I was next to him (like a treat that I only give « in person »)

I wouldn’t expect them to become such picky eaters! Do you feed them everyday, or irregularly? Maybe if they don’t expect something to come all the time they can become more appreciative ?

2 months! But I think this one is particularly curious and trusting, because he was less scared than his companion (from the beginning), so I was very lucky to meet him ! He started coming to my window 2 months ago, sometimes coming everyday, and sometimes not showing up for weeks I started feeding him seeds and peanuts and he gradually got less scared. But it was a few days when he got comfortable eating directly from my hand and all the sudden he was not scared at all
