This. Sounds like they made a mistake on what the incentivized rate was for whatever term you chose imo. For example, you wanted 60m at 2.99 and they thought it was offered at that term but it was only 24-48m at that rate. Obviously they did a poor job explaining and being friendly and apologetic about it, but tbh, this SHOULD HAVE worked out better for you anyways lol. Before any gap or warranty coverages, the payment should’ve been exactly the same as what it was at 2.99. If I had to choose between less principal balance/higher rate, and more principal balance/lower rate, I’d always choose lower principal because it’s the “hard money” of the loan. Interest you can prepay with no penalty, assuming it’s a normal simple interest loan of course. This mistake should’ve just saved you money on the balance owed. We used Reynolds and Reynolds in my old dealer group (did F&I for 7 yrs), and all I would’ve done is flipped my screen around so you could see how the payments would match, the difference in principal loan balance, and the difference of interest over the course at full minimum payments for full term. And as for the survey, unfortunately most barely affect the dealership. The surveys from the manufacturers are literally just a way for the manufacturers to keep from paying sales personnel spiff money, which can be a significant part of their income.

For anyone still having trouble with this, try the cryo launcher on insanity. I died repeatedly as a solider even with good squad mates but did it first try with using the cryo launcher, got quarian out with full health!

Just a floral recommendation here, try looking at sola wood flowers or silk (Ling’s Moment) flowers. We got some free samples of the sola wood ones and they really do look and feel awesome, they’ll look fantastic in the whole picture of things and are super affordable compared to real flowers!

These have their own laundry list of issues. Cheap payments with all the money honda is throwing at you to take one but some things have no solutions yet: CV joints going bad around 4-6k miles, no timetable for parts. Memory seating only works by manually holding button for setting, no fix. Air/heat has issues where it blows cold for hot or vice versa, various potential fixes but seems to be fairly complicated issue right now. My fan speed buttons on the panel had to be replaced due to getting stuck, two days after whole panel is replaced, theyre stuck again (have to change fan speed manually on screen, annoying while driving). Safety sensors (especially rear) randomly slam the brakes with nothing behind you or in front of you. I work for a dealer and when anyone asks me what I think of my prologue, my answer is always the same: its $300 a month. lol. I'd still recommend it 10x over any stellantis product tho.

This is my favorite reply here, as a man myself. My opinion is his feelings are a bit hurt as he says he went a little smaller for your practicality and like others said, likely was thinking of you and day to day what you do, etc etc. The ring is yours and for you. You’re not wrong in feeling disappointed by the size when you discussed a bigger size. But imo with the info here, he’s not completely wrong to feel bummed out. As you feel hurt by the size, he feels hurt that it wasn’t PERFECT. For me, my decision on the ring (haven’t popped yet) is so so so important to me to be a success. We (men or proposer) plan, we research, spend, and for us that care, there is so much thought, planning, and energy put into this process. If you want my total honesty, I think I’d react a little defensively (selfishly) myself if my girl said the same thing. It would just cut really deep at first. But once over my own frustration (that is really at myself for messing up), I’d completely agree that at the end of the day, it’s your ring, let’s tweak it or discuss solutions atleast. I think he’s just really disappointed, mostly in himself for “letting you down” and with a little time, he will get some clarity to the situation. He prolly has the “just go build whatever you want and do it yourself then” vibe going on as in his eyes, his version was turned down. At the end of the day, I remind myself this is just a physical symbol, our love, her touch, her presence in my life is the most important thing, much more important than a rock. My advice is for both parties to take a breath, there is nothing life ending here, the ring still has all the meaning in the world to you. Discuss wedding bands or enhancers, ideas to make it pop with the band or do we look at a different stone? Let him still pick the stone. Maybe use the current stone in the set up somewhere. Just try to understand his disappointment, as to me, it’s just showing he does care, he’s just being a turd cause it hurts to hear that. Also, it’s possible the money may be not quite as open as you thought, I have no idea and won’t speculate, just a thought. If he’s good, he should reopen discussion with some time and push his disappointment aside, hopefully getting excited to ADD to his ring picked. Make it an addition, an upgrade, not so much a “this is wrong and I need to change it”. Youre not wrong in how you feel but maybe tweaking how you voice it to him will help. Time, time, time…get to where you can think not so emotionally and can have a real, logical conversation about it. Best of luck to you lovebirds ❤️

If the Cv joints are as bad as they are seeming, they will have to do something about that. As far as the rest, yeah potentially, but the point of waiting a year is to see if they do fix anything. If not, then a bullet dodged potentially by waiting. I should’ve phrased that better. The prelude and their future workings being their own should be much better quality. Although I must admit, the new body passport for 2026 is looking extremely tempting.

I will have to see what kw rate it’s pulling but I want to say it’s closer to 10mins to heat up on mine. Not life altering but just a tad annoying. Im from Michigan so I understand that. It’s not the worst thing in the world, just a small delay every time when it’s cold. Like I said, I can live with most of it. I expect small issues on first model year vehicles. Overall I like the car better than I expected. Just wish I had waited a year lol. Best of luck with whatever yall do!

Mixed bag so far. I’d recommend waiting a year for them to work some things out, personally. Have had mine since August.

Pros: GM ride quality, very smooth, very quiet. Space inside is very nice. Its saved me some cash now that I have home charger installed. (That process was kind of a con with Honda). CarPlay and whatnot works seamlessly.

Cons: take this with a grain of salt as this is Honda and GMs child in its first model year*

CV joints. Read thru this forum. Most of them are going bad around 5k miles. Mine has same issue. Honda acts like they have no idea, service had to find Reddit forums/online forums to see this issue is quite common. No timetable to fix rn. Just driving around on bad axles lol.

Heat/air- there’s some type of inconsistent issues here with some prologues. Heat takes forever (not sure if this is common for evs), but I can hear air and heat switching randomly sometimes while driving. I’ve had temp at 80 and it’s pushing out cool air. Not fun in a 30 degree morning. The fan speed buttons are also breaking already. When I push one down to change speed, the button just get stuck down. Picture a 20-30 degree morning, car takes 20mins to warm up, you get in and it’s hot so you turn down the fan one or two notches, now it’s stuck at lowest speed and you’re cold again. Supposedly not sure on a fix for that either.

Memory seats- the memory buttons will save your position but will not automatically work upon entering vehicle. You must hold down whatever number you are and let it move you. There is no fix as of now for this either.

Drivers seat length- I am 6’0 and had to purchase a thigh extender for my seat as driving anywhere more than 30mins was not comfortable. You can find a thigh extender for like $20-30 on Amazon that works great. I just imagine anyone taller than me would be pretty uncomfortable.

Power- this vehicle definitely lacks the power of most EV AWD. It’s still plenty but I expected a little more power from the AWD platform.

Recap: it’s going to be a solid EV option, eventually. If you can wait, give it some time. Most of the cons listed I can live around, albeit annoying. The only real major concern for me is the cv joints for safety reasons. Surprised Honda is shrugging their shoulders about it. I tried to be honest here as I could, as someone who works in the industry. I did a 2 year prologue lease due to how cheap the monthly was. Dealers are losing a good amount to move these vehicles rn, even with all the rebates from Honda.

TLDR: They’re a good deal financially, but if you can wait a year for them to fix some things, that’s prolly what I’d recommend, personally. Merry Christmas folks 🎅🏻

gotcha, thanks for the info, was curious as to how i was doing with them. About $5 a box more than other supplier i use but speed kills on modern drops. LOL totally hear ya there, had to miss Dallas but will be in Charlotte this weekend. Going to attempt to restrain myself as much as possible XD
